4-(2,3-Dihydro-1,3-dimethyl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-N,N-dimethylbenzenamine also known as BMDA  CAS NO: 302818-73-1 is a molecule that can be used to create devices for solar energy conversion. It is one of the most efficient organic molecules for converting light into electricity. This molecule has been shown to be able to absorb sunlight and convert it into electricity with an efficiency of close to 10%. The material can also be used as a semiconductor in photovoltaic cells and quantum dots. 4-(2,3-Dihydro-1,3-dimethyl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-N,N-dimethylbenzenamine has been shown to have synergistic effects when combined with other materials such as perovskite and additives. These synergistic effects have led to significant improvements in the performance of the solar cell.




4-(2,3-Dihydro-1,3-dimethyl-1H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-N,N-dimethylbenzenamine also known as BMDA  CAS NO: 302818-73-1 uses of 4-(1,3-dimethyl-2H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-N,N-dimethylaniline is as a fluorescent probe for the detection of zinc ions. 4-(1,3-dimethyl-2H-benzimidazol-2-yl)-N,N-dimethylaniline has also been used as a pH-sensitive fluorescent probe for the detection of acidic conditions.
